What is War Room?
War Room is a strategy game set in the fictional Afghan province of Kushan.
Players command US Army forces, control territory, establish and supply bases, manage troops, and protect civilians across a game world exceeding 1000 km². Operations include patrols, humanitarian missions, wounded evacuations, IED clearance, convoy support, air assaults, and attacks on insurgent networks. Kushan is divided into 9 districts with groups focused on activities such as recruitment, narcotics, explosives, and weapons smuggling. Political choices also shape the province through elections and candidate support, with different endings tied to those decisions. Military drones provide reconnaissance, FLIR and thermal views, target designation, and coordination for air support.
