We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- VR players who want arcade action built around swinging and ball tracking
- Friends seeking local cooperative or competitive play with one VR player
- Players who want to create or download custom levels
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a slow or low-pressure arcade experience may bounce off when bullets, power-ups, and ball tracking overlap.
- Players wanting uniform boss encounters may hit a wall when each boss requires a different attack approach.
- Players looking for a conventional mouse-and-keyboard game may not fit the VR-centered control scheme.
- Players seeking a story-led adventure or role-playing progression may find the arcade level structure too narrow.
Our take on VRNOID
The bounce point arrives when ordinary brick breaking becomes simultaneous threat management: the ball must stay in view while bullets are dodged or redirected and power-ups are collected. Bosses add another wall, since their vulnerabilities vary rather than following one repeated attack pattern.
What is VRNOID?
VRNOID combines brick-breaking with Air Hockey in a VR arcade format.
Players swing a striker to hit a ball, clear bricks and enemies, collect power-ups, and avoid or reflect incoming bullets. Levels include bosses with different weaknesses and attack rules. An additional Air Hockey mode offers several setups and power-ups. The game includes local multiplayer, with one player using VR and a second playing on the monitor with a mouse. Players can adjust difficulty through 8 modifiers and 5 difficulty settings. A built-in editor supports creating levels and sharing them through Steam Workshop. Room setup uses a thumbstick adjustment for direction and table height, and play is supported while sitting or standing.
