Our take on VR Giants
The cooperative premise is central, but the physical requirement is easy to understate: the VR participant needs a 2m*2m area and must move actively, including kneeling and repeated vertical movement. That makes the setup and play style more demanding than a seated VR puzzle game.
What is VR Giants?
VR Giants is a cooperative game for one VR player and one screen player sharing a PC and virtual world.
The VR player controls Goliath, a giant who protects and supports David, while David can use the giant’s body to reach parts of the level. Progress depends on solving puzzles together across deserts, icebergs, lava caves, and pastures. Goliath can appear in solid, temporary, or fire-based states, each changing how the pair approaches obstacles. David activates buttons that move the giant to new play areas. The game includes local and online co-op, cosmetic rewards, and play without dying. The VR player needs a 2m*2m play area and must move actively, including kneeling and repeated up-and-down movements.
How VR Giants plays

- 03Multi-region puzzles
- The journey crosses deserts, icebergs, lava caves, and pastures while the pair searches for lost sheep.
- 04Button-based locomotion
- The tiny character activates buttons that move the giant into new play areas.
- 05Active VR movement
- The VR participant needs a 2m*2m play area and may need to kneel and move up and down frequently.
