What is Roomscale Tower?
A medieval VR experience for HTC Vive, Roomscale Tower places a knight in trap-filled towers and survival encounters with skeletons.
It includes seven modes: Tower, Survival, Climbing, Piglet Catching, Throwing Knife, Tavern, and Training. Survival offers swords, axes, bows, arrows, lances, shields, and throwing weapons against several skeleton types and bosses. Larger play areas support movement through platforms, elevators, boats, and mine carts without teleportation. Smaller areas use arm-swinging locomotion. Other activities include mountain climbing, archery practice, relaxing in a medieval home or tavern, and watching a dancer. Photogrammetry provides scanned 3D environments, while dynamic resolution changes according to system performance.
