Our take on Mokoko X
Instead of centering progression on movement through stages or defeating enemies directly, the game makes screen ownership the main objective. Expansion itself creates vulnerability because drawing disables protection, turning territory capture into a timing challenge rather than a purely offensive action loop.
What is Mokoko X?
Mokoko X is an arcade action game built around claiming territory on a hazard-filled screen.
The player begins inside a protected area and expands it by drawing lines into enemy territory. While drawing, the shield is disabled, creating danger; the shield also drains over time and eventually stops protecting claimed areas if expansion slows. The game contains 32 levels, each with its own boss and minions, and follows eight girls who need help in absurd situations. Three difficulty settings change enemy behavior, shield conditions, and the percentage of territory required to win. Traps, towers, crates, and bonus effects add hazards and modifiers. An Arcade Mode and displayed high scores provide an additional score-focused structure.
How Mokoko X plays
