Our take on Voxel Turf
Rather than separating city building from open-world action, the game places construction, destruction, property management, missions and faction conflict in the same urban sandbox. Its strategy mode also turns city control into a contest among 16 factions.
What is Voxel Turf?
Voxel Turf combines city building, open-world action and strategy in a block-based urban sandbox.
Players can construct cities from more than 50 prepared buildings or create structures with over 15,000 block types across more than 100 categories. Procedurally generated cities provide another starting point. Activities include missions, street racing, vehicle theft, faction warfare, territory defense, diplomacy, crime and property management. Vehicles range from cars and tanks to helicopters, while explosives and weapons can damage urban areas.
Multiplayer supports LAN and internet play, with cooperative missions and competitive city-building. Separate modes include unrestricted construction, resource gathering in a new city, and a strategy mode with 16 competing factions. Custom buildings, weapon modifications, Lua scripting and Steam Workshop integration extend the creation and modification systems.
