What is Voidspace?
Voidspace is a 2D, top-down science-fiction MMORPG centered on player-created societies and infrastructure.
Characters research materials and concepts, develop ideas, and use laboratories to prototype inventions, skills, weapons, equipment, and other objects. Successful prototypes can be reproduced, practiced, improved, shared, or sold. Players construct buildings, bases, cities, ships, equipment, ammunition, and production facilities; the game has no NPCs or centralized auction house. Its effectively infinite world puts all players on one server without zones. Players can discover outposts and abandoned player-made civilizations, join groups, or spawn far from others. Permanent death and twitch-based gameplay are part of the game.
