- Players who like experimenting with star growth and recipe hints
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a story campaign or a sequence of quests, since there is no end goal or quest for completion.
- Players who want a simulation grounded in scientific facts; the game uses imagined concepts.

Our take on VOID
Creation begins with +1 and -1 particles that vanish when gravity brings them together, making separation part of the opening interaction. From there, combining particles builds a chain of discoveries, with some materials reserved for the interior of a large star.
What is VOID?
VOID is a casual space simulation that begins in a dark, empty cosmos.
Click the screen to create +1 and -1 particles, then drag them apart before gravity brings them together and they vanish. Combine two +1 particles to form +2, and continue making new materials. The game records discoveries in a book where players can assign names and view recipe hints for what to create next. Stars can be grown until they reach their maximum size; some materials can only be made inside a large star.
Optional tips are available in the settings. There are 11 achievements, but no quest or end goal, so play can focus on experimenting with creation. The game presents its own imagined concepts rather than scientific facts.
How VOID plays
- 01Particle creation and combination
- New materials come from combining particles, while gravity can cause +1 and -1 particles to disappear if they meet.
- 02Discovery book
- Recorded creations can be renamed, and the book provides hints for further recipes.
- 03Growing stars
- Stars can reach a maximum size, and some materials require a large star to be synthesized.
- 04Optional tips
- A tips toggle in the options provides guidance during play.
- 05Open-ended play
- The game has no quest or end goal, and includes 11 achievements.
