Our take on Solar 2
Rather than treating stars and planets as scenery or targets, the game makes cosmic objects the playable entities. Its structure replaces a conventional campaign with open-ended growth, destruction, optional tasks, and unrestricted movement through an abstract universe.
What is Solar 2?
Solar 2 is an open-world sandbox set in an infinite abstract universe where cosmic objects are controlled directly.
Grow a planetary system, nurture life on its planets, attack enemy life in large space battles, or create destruction by colliding with other objects and using orbiting bodies as wrecking balls. Planets can also be taken from other systems. Non-linear missions offer optional tasks from a god-like figure, while players can ignore them and continue expanding. The game has no boundaries, allowing indefinite movement through ambient space. Its presentation includes eccentric humor and an extensive custom soundtrack.
