Our take on Virush
The listing emphasizes more than 10 modes, while the described play centers on collecting packets before timers expire and using bombs against nearby threats. The mode count signals variety, but the stated mechanics remain focused on this arcade loop.
What is Virush?
Play as a snake-like defender program protecting a spherical field from invading computer viruses.
Use the Vive controller to move around the 360-degree play area and collect data packets. Gather packets by running over them or encircling them with the character’s tail before the timer expires and they become infected. Capturing every packet before a wave ends earns bonus points. The more packets collected, the more bombs become available for destroying nearby viruses and infected packets. The game also features an electronic soundtrack and leaderboard competition across more than 10 game modes.
