What is Veil of Darkness?
This gothic horror adventure begins after a cargo-plane crash strands the protagonist in an isolated village within a forgotten valley.
The journey follows Kairn, a vampire whose power comes from the blood of his murdered family. Players investigate a mystery through riddles, quests, and encounters with spectral characters who hold hidden information. Combat pits the protagonist against ghouls, werewolves, and zombies, with three difficulty levels and different weapons suited to different enemies. Dungeon exploration includes automatic maps based on line of sight, with options to record and print each route. The objective is to defeat Kairn and survive the valley’s supernatural threats.
