What is The Mercury Man?
The Mercury Man is an isometric action game with adventure elements, set in a grim science-fiction future.
In 2310, a medical procedure replaces human blood with mercury and is initially available only to wealthy patients. After clandestine clinics spread the treatment, mercury-transfused people are banned and hunted. Those sent to Mars are divided between an outer zone for poorer patients and an inner zone controlled by former elites. Poor air and defective procedures cause mutations in the outer zone, creating monstrous inhabitants. The player takes the role of one of the hunters who captured mercuries on Earth. The game presents this setting through hand-drawn graphics, an original soundtrack, a dark plot, and black humor.
