Play it if you…
Good fit- Parkour-platformer players who want 3D obstacle courses and movement challenges
- Puzzle-platformer fans who want object manipulation alongside traversal
- Science-fiction game players interested in an experiment-based framing
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a broad range of activities beyond course traversal and obstacle puzzles may find the scope narrow.
- Those looking for a campaign centered on character development may find the experiment framing takes precedence over that structure.
- Players seeking cooperative play may not find it suited to that preference.
Our take on Vectromirror™
Rather than treating movement as the sole focus of a parkour platformer, Vectromirror ties traversal and object puzzles to a fictional experiment about emotional responses. Its courses combine surface movement with suspended-object manipulation and checkpoint recovery.
What is Vectromirror™?
Vectromirror is a 3D science-fiction parkour platformer built around courses with obstacles and puzzles.
Players move across surfaces, use wall-running and double jumps, and manipulate objects with energy abilities that can pull, hold, or push them. Suspended objects can be directed toward specific spots, including to deactivate barriers. Checkpoints let players resume from an earlier point after destruction. The game is framed as an experiment testing whether its AI subject can develop humanlike emotions through experiences of trust and misery. Compared with the previous experiment, Vectromirror 0, this sequel adds new courses and more demanding trials. The earlier game is available separately for free.
How Vectromirror™ plays
- 01Object manipulation
- Energy abilities can suspend objects and propel them in a chosen direction, including toward barriers.
- 02Checkpoint recovery
- After destruction, progress can resume from an earlier checkpoint.
- 03Surface traversal
- Movement includes locking onto surfaces while traversing them.
