Our take on Vector
The escape premise receives prominent attention, but the playable structure centers on repeated rooftop timing challenges. Hunter Mode adds a pursuit variant, while the core experience remains focused on movement, route execution and avoiding capture.
What is Vector?
Vector is an arcade-style action game set in a totalitarian world where a freerunner breaks away from the system.
Players run across rooftops while avoiding capture, using moves such as vaulting, sliding, climbing and other parkour-based techniques. Levels present fast timing challenges as the character moves through urban environments. Hunter Mode changes the role: instead of escaping, players join Big Brother’s side and pursue opponents with a taser. The game supports controller play and presents its movement through an accessible control scheme alongside demanding level designs.
How Vector plays
- 01Parkour movement
- The runner crosses rooftops by combining vaults, slides, climbs and other freerunning techniques.
- 02Hunter Mode
- This mode lets players pursue opponents on Big Brother’s side and use a taser.
- 03Timing challenges
- Levels require fast reactions while the character moves through rooftop routes.
- 04Controller support
- The game can be played with a gamepad.
