What is UNKNOWN REGION?
UNKNOWN REGION is an open-world survival horror simulator set in a world devastated by a mysterious disease.
Players take the role of selected survivors, travel across the region, and face altered people and wildlife while collecting materials. The survival loop includes crafting, gathering, hunting, scavenging, cooking, constructing shelters, and improving bases. Combat features enemy encounters, base raids, and firearm repairs and upgrades. Dynamic weather and a day-and-night system affect the environment. Solo play, multiplayer, and online co-op are available, along with separate saving and save-reset systems for solo and multiplayer modes. A dog companion is included. The game remains in Early Access, with development continuing and possible bugs, performance issues, and other problems.
