Bum Simulator is a sandbox survival game set on the streets of Bumsville.
Players scavenge materials, combine alcohol with objects found on the ground, and use the resulting mixtures as boosts or weapons. Pigeons can also be thrown at people and upgraded with explosives. A shopping cart named Carl functions as mobile inventory and a companion. The game includes a voiced storyline with unusual characters, including mutant sewer dwellers and a hook-handed clown. Players can conquer, construct, and customize cardboard bases, adding defenses against raids from rival bum gangs. Crafting supports vegetable gardens, pigeon-coop upgrades, base expansions, and recruiting other bums to gather materials.
