Our take on UNI
UNI departs from the usual single-genre structure by placing sports, action, fighting, arcade, racing, and RPG-style mini-games in one two-player collection. The format replaces a longer central campaign with a series of shorter contests.
What is UNI?
UNI is a two-player party game with 40 mini-games covering sports, action, fighting, arcade, racing, and RPG genres.
The games use simple rules and can be played by sharing one keyboard or connecting two game controllers. Separate keyboard layouts assign controls to each participant, with an additional arrangement for tenkeyless keyboards. A Random 5 mode was added in the June 7, 2019 update, along with five games. The collection combines different types of short competitive play instead of centering on one genre. The vendor also says that free mini-games will be added through updates, without specifying a schedule.
