Play it if you…
Good fit- Hardcore RPG players who want demanding combat and resource-loss consequences

- Players who enjoy exploration with traps, dexterity sections, analysis phases, and different possible endings
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a forgiving RPG, since defeat can remove unused progression resources permanently

- Players looking for a story-led RPG with a conventional setting rather than a program-themed adventure
Our take on UNFAIR
Rather than centering a conventional party, dialogue system, or turn-based structure, this RPG places progression inside a demanding top-down shooter. Character growth is tied to repeated combat, exploration, recovery attempts, and the risk of losing unspent resources.
What is UNFAIR?
UNFAIR combines top-down shooting with RPG progression.
As Cubi, an evolutive program, players must destroy OMEGA before a red wave reaches the central core. Experience and fragments can be spent on statistics, skills, increases, amplifiers, and other improvements, but unused resources are lost when Cubi is destroyed unless recovered at the destruction site. Combat includes standard shots, charged shots, melee attacks, dashes, stun, invisibility, shields, and explosions. Exploration covers the XNIRL program, with enemies and bosses using distinct abilities and behaviors. The game also includes traps, dexterity and analysis sections, mechanisms requiring speed and interpretation, three possible endings, and three difficulty settings.
How UNFAIR plays
- 01RPG progression
- Experience and fragments can be assigned to statistics, skills, amplifiers, and other character improvements.
- 02Resource recovery
- Unused experience and fragments drop when Cubi is destroyed and can be reclaimed at the destruction site, but a second defeat makes them permanently unavailable.
- 03Mixed combat abilities
- Cubi can use regular and charged shots, melee attacks, dashes, stun, invisibility, shields, and explosions.
- 04Exploration challenges
- Progress includes traps, dexterity and analysis sections, mechanisms requiring quick interpretation, and areas to search throughout XNIRL.
- 05Multiple outcomes
- The adventure offers three possible endings and three difficulty settings.
