Our take on Undercrewed
The page emphasizes ship customization and a broad range of onboard systems, but the core activity remains coordinated crew work during missions. The systems and layouts give players choices; they do not change the game’s focus on steering, responding to events, and managing the ship together.
What is Undercrewed?
Undercrewed is a spaceship co-op game about a crew of up to four survivors working through a campaign and its missions.
Players steer the ship, activate rooms, fight enemies, and operate systems such as guns, shields, repair drones, and medical equipment. The crew can choose ship layouts and room placements, balancing weapons, defenses, and movement between locations. During missions, events include gas leaks, escape pods, and intruders. Players earn skill points to unlock modules along a shared skill tree, with room for specialization and changes in focus. Play is available in local or online co-op, including mixed groups, or with bots filling empty crew slots. The game also supports a single-player challenge and local play using keyboards or controllers.
How Undercrewed plays

- 03Bot Crew Members
- Bots can occupy unfilled crew positions, including for a solo campaign run.
- 04Module Skill Tree
- Players spend skill points on unlockable modules and can shift their specialization while retaining progress.
- 05Mission Events
- Missions can bring hazards and tasks such as gas leaks, escape pods, and intruders aboard.
