Our take on Undead Onslaught
Rather than placing the player in the usual heroic role, the game makes villainy the central progression fantasy. Defeat also feeds the next attempt through a returning champion, replacing a simple failed-run reset with a power-oriented cycle tied to the opposing side.
What is Undead Onslaught?
Undead Onslaught is a bullet-heaven roguelike RPG in which the player takes the role of a villain rather than a traditional hero.
Runs combine real-time combat with increasingly dangerous enemy waves, selectable abilities, talent trees, relics, temporary enhancements, and ability evolutions. After a defeat, a heroic champion appears in the next run and can be defeated to claim its power. Each villain has five personal quests that award Skulls for unlocking talents.
Run performance grants Coins and Magical Stones for Tarot Card upgrades, while run history records kills, ability use, progression, and personal bests. The Shrine of Dis provides controls for Onslaught accumulation, minimum intensity, and Madness. Multiple save slots, achievements, game recording, minimap overlays, and detailed statistics are also included.
