Saves you a refund- Players seeking purely static logic puzzles may bounce off the obstacle destruction, weapons, and gadget recharge timers.
- Those wanting a short, single-mode puzzle game may find the 16 Worlds, custom editor, and multiplayer options broader than needed.
- Players looking for a rhythm game, runner, or survival-crafting structure will not find those gameplay systems here.
Our take on Tyler
Players who manage flow connections well may bounce off when several hazards require simultaneous attention. Gadget recharge timers create another stopping point for anyone expecting to repeat the same special tool whenever an obstacle appears.
What is Tyler?
Tyler combines flow-based puzzle solving with arcade obstacle clearing.
Players connect each flow correctly, reach every key on a grid, and release Clarence, Tyler’s puppy. The game contains more than 80 puzzles across 16 Worlds, with obstacles including rocks, barrels, fire particles, ice blocks, bombs, and shooting cannons. More than 15 weapons and gadgets provide different ways to handle these hazards. The Timewarp slows time, the Filler completes a flow in one use, and the Detonator removes bombs across the grid; gadgets require time to recharge. Weapons include a machine gun, flamethrower, freezer cannon, and vacuum cleaner. A Grid Editor supports custom puzzles, while multiplayer includes 1vs1 matches and cooperative 2vs2 play.
