Our take on Tunnel Escape
Its defining structure is the combination of intense gunplay and turn-based combat, with every movement, shot, and thrown grenade contributing to the outcome of a run.
What is Tunnel Escape?
Tunnel Escape follows Beatrice into a secret biological laboratory beneath a city affected by a zombie virus.
The game combines action shooting with turn-based combat, exploration, item crafting, and a skill system. Players choose weapons with different strengths and drawbacks, use grenades and other throwables, and fight at close range with kicks. Hundreds of active and passive skills add tactical options. Each stage contains its own enemy selection and ends with a boss encounter. Random events, loot, vending machines, characters, plants, and other encounters vary between runs. Crafting takes place outside active battles, while permanent upgrades carry across failed attempts. Difficulty settings, controller support, force feedback, and one-handed controls are included.
