Our take on Dust & Neon
The bounce point arrives during firefights when every round must be loaded into the weapon by hand. Players who struggle with timing under pressure may find the reload system demanding before the skill tree or weapon variety can offset that friction.
What is Dust & Neon?
Dust & Neon is a Wild West shooter set after civilization’s collapse, where machines control the frontier.
A cryptic gunslinger travels across four distinct territories, battling robot foes with varied traits and confronting villain-linked bosses. The action combines manual revolver loading with evasive dives, slides, automatic cover, and short-lived tonics or other boosts. Progression includes 24 abilities and an arsenal of almost 2,000 revolvers, shotguns, and rifles to unlock. Hundreds of loot containers provide cash, firearms, and improvements. Its main journey takes over 10 hours, while players pursuing full completion can continue beyond the central campaign.
