Our take on Tryst
The premise and feature list give the campaign and multiplayer equal billing, but the campaign’s practical scope remains unclear beyond its two protagonists and war investigation. The game’s unusual setting is more clearly defined than the structure or length of its story content.
What is Tryst?
Tryst is a competitive real-time strategy game set on Ishtonia IV, where humans and the mechanical Zali fight over resources and survival.
The campaign follows Overseer Oliver Petrovich and Rebel leader Aeryn Ozarr as they investigate the outbreak of war. Multiplayer lets players choose between the Ishtonian Alliance and the Zali while competing for control of resources. Units have individual abilities and upgrade choices, and decisions in both campaign and multiplayer can affect later gameplay.
