Our take on Troupe
The defining structure is flexible progression through one castle: the player chooses the exploration and rescue order while gaining abilities during the journey.
What is Troupe?
Troupe is a 2D platform adventure set in a haunted castle within a fictional medieval world.
The player controls a clown who explores the castle, faces traps and evil beings, and searches for troupe members to rescue. Exploration is not restricted to a fixed route or starting point, so the player can choose the order in which to proceed and save the team. New abilities are gained as the game progresses. The game features a cast of five characters, each with a distinct story, goal, and ability. The castle is divided into three sections with specific characteristics and challenges. Circus culture and medieval fantasy influence the art, music, and plot.

Troupe compared to similar games
