Saves you a refund- Players who want combat that does not depend on learning enemy attack patterns and timing parries

Our take on Solateria
The bounce point arrives in the combat tutorial that the game never stops teaching: enemy patterns must be read, parries must be timed, and counterattacks depend on those defenses. Players who prefer attacking freely or absorbing hits may hit the wall at the first demanding boss.
What is Solateria?
Solateria is a hand-drawn action Metroidvania centered on timing-based parries.
Players guide a small fire warrior without memories through a fallen land affected by the Shadow Plague, searching for the vanished King and the Primordial Flame. Combat involves studying enemy patterns, parrying attacks, and following successful defenses with counterattacks against bosses and other foes. Exploration supports hidden locations, shortcuts, side quests, NPC encounters, memory fragments, and information recorded on the map. King Statues grant power, while Heat Cores, Core Stones, Parts, cooking, refining, and crafting provide several upgrade systems. The game includes 40 Parts combinations, more than 50 story cutscenes, skill-based secrets, and a world that can be explored in any order.
