Our take on Trigger Witch
The bounce point arrives when exploration gives way to repeated firearm combat against monsters. Players who enjoy the colorful presentation but want a gentler adventure may stop at the game's violent twin-stick shooting, while solo users may also miss a second player during local co-op sections.
What is Trigger Witch?
Trigger Witch is a 2D twin-stick action-adventure set in a world where magic is ordinary and firearms are a new force.
Players control Colette, a trainee from an academy devoted to Witchcraft and Triggery, after a mysterious man enters her realm. The game combines open-world exploration with environmental puzzles, obstacles, dialogue with unusual characters, and combat against monsters. Firearms can be acquired and upgraded during progression, while the soundtrack changes dynamically. The campaign can be played alone or in drop-in local co-op, allowing multiplayer at any time. Its presentation uses colorful pixel art with a violent action style and draws on the structure of classic 16-bit action-adventure games.
