We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Action-adventure players who want an open-world map rather than a linear route
- Players who prefer switching among multiple combat roles instead of controlling one fixed character
- Fans of colorful, comedic adventures with boss fights and character customization
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a tightly linear action game may not want its open-world structure across 13 zones
- Players looking for one protagonist with a single consistent combat style may not want three characters with different skills
- Players seeking a climbing-focused journey or a runner-shooter structure will find those mechanics elsewhere
Our take on Teratopia
Instead of centering one hero, the game makes character variety part of its action structure: a brawler, shooter, or trickster can lead the adventure, with five summonable units adding another layer to combat.
What is Teratopia?
Teratopia is a 3D action brawler about Tucho’s quest to rescue friends and drive red invaders from his homeland.
The game uses an open-world map spanning 13 colorful zones filled with enemies and 11 bosses. Players can switch among three characters: Tucho, a brawler; Benito, a shooter; and Horacio, a trickster. Each has distinct skills, and five summonable units add further options during combat. The story includes family jokes and comic situations. Character customization includes four costumes, while the Teratopedia provides entries to unlock. An original orchestrated soundtrack accompanies the journey through the game’s grotesque, colorful landscapes.
