Later levels add timed jumps, retracting and extending spikes, and tiles that must be cleared in specific sequences. Each stage combines platforming with puzzle-solving, requiring players to plan their moves and time jumps. Tricky Fox is a sequel to Tricky Cat, with new gameplay, graphics, music, and sounds compared with the earlier game.
