Our take on Slime Jumper
Dying removes collected stars even after checkpoints are placed, so players face a tradeoff between setting a return point and keeping their level's star haul.
What is Slime Jumper?
Slime Jumper is a platform game with direct controls, floor and wall jumps, and hazards such as spikes, bullets, and wrecking balls.
Each level has three collectible stars, and completing it awards one more. Death removes collected stars, even if checkpoints have been placed. Players can set up to three checkpoints in regular levels and five in boss levels. Stars can be spent on slimes with different abilities, including higher jumps.
The story mode has six worlds of 15 levels each, with a boss level at the end of each world. The game also includes a level editor with Workshop integration for sharing user-made stages. Local multiplayer offers up to six minigames for up to four players; no more than two can use a keyboard.
