Our take on Trials of Proelium
The defining structure is a succession contest: Letha must travel between districts and defeat their masters, with the last survivor becoming Proelium’s next emperor.
What is Trials of Proelium?
Trials of Proelium is a turn-based RPG set in a colorful anime-inspired world.
Players control Letha, a young paladin, alongside her mage companion Yoni as they travel through Proelium to locate and challenge the masters of its districts. The adventure combines open-world exploration with a story-led campaign, main quests, side quests, activities, dungeons, and boss encounters. Crafting, scrolls, multiple weapon types, and switchable skill trees shape character development. Random encounters can be enabled or disabled as part of the game’s experience settings. The central competition determines Proelium’s next emperor: district masters fight until only one remains. The campaign offers more than 10 hours of playtime.
