TRI replaces fixed first-person routes with player-built traversal. Its triangular platforms change how each space is crossed, while light redirection, wall-walking and teleportation turn movement itself into a series of spatial puzzles.
What is TRI: Of Friendship and Madness?
TRI is a first-person puzzle adventure set in the world of the Odd Gods.
Players place anchor points on surfaces to create triangular platforms, then use them to cross gaps, climb walls and reach otherwise inaccessible areas. The platforms also support puzzles involving redirected light beams. The game contains 16 stages across towers and dungeons, with abilities to discover including wall-walking and teleportation. Hidden idols unlock making-of images and developer commentary. Challenge Mode adds leaderboards for completion times and for using the fewest triangles. The Deluxe Edition includes TRI, the original soundtrack and an artbook. The game focuses on exploration, spatial awareness and puzzle solving rather than combat.
