We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Transformers fans who want racing combined with robot fights
- Players seeking arcade circuits with character progression rather than a pure racing format
- Friends looking for local competitive racing and combat
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking simulation-focused driving may find the arcade racing and robot combat too action-oriented.
- Those wanting a dedicated racer or dedicated combat game may find the combined battle-race format less focused.
- Players looking for a broader track selection may find the stated 10-circuit structure limiting.
Our take on TRANSFORMERS: Galactic Trials
Combining racing and fighting gives up the single-focus structure of a dedicated racer or combat game. The 10-circuit format also keeps the stated track selection focused rather than broad.
What is TRANSFORMERS: Galactic Trials?
TRANSFORMERS: Galactic Trials combines arcade racing with robot combat in a contest to recover the Prime Relics from Nemesis Prime.
Choose an Autobot or Decepticon and compete across 10 battle-race circuits. Drifting and Boost Pads build an Energon meter, while robot form provides access to Energon-powered attacks such as Optimus Prime’s Energon Axe and Bumblebee’s Plasma Sting. The game includes 11 Transformers to level and customize. Experience and recovered relics develop characters and unlock new characters and skins. The roster includes Bumblebee, Megatron, and Optimus Prime. Local Versus mode supports battle-racing with a friend.
