Our take on Trainz Plus
Train simulators often center on driving prepared routes; Trainz Plus also makes route construction a major part of play. Its multiplayer editor lets participants build and drive in shared worlds, while offline editing and driving remain available.
What is Trainz Plus?
Trainz Plus combines train driving with railway route building and operations.
Players can drive trains, edit routes, and switch between Driver and Surveyor without reloading the map. Multiplayer Surveyor supports real-time route building and driving with others, while Surveyor 2. 0 provides tools for placing groups of assets, painting forests or towns, and replacing objects across a route. The game includes routes, operating sessions, and train cars, with additional content available through the Trainz Download Station and Content Store. Membership options include Standard and Gold Class; Gold Class adds access to the Trainz DLC library. Trainz Plus also includes a First Class Ticket for premium Download Station access. Routes created online in Multiplayer Surveyor can be exported for offline use.
