What is Train World?
Train World is a railway simulation game covering the development of rail transport across three historical periods.
Players plan routes, construct stations, lay tracks, and manage passenger and freight services while upgrading from steam locomotives to multi-engine trains. Research unlocks new technologies, train types, infrastructure, and regions. The network uses bridges, tunnels, and multiple track types across maps ranging from 33X33 km to 197X197 km. More than 30 cargo categories are mentioned in the general description, while the feature list specifies over 150 unique cargo types. Regions contain industries and add strategic considerations. An optional objective system provides tasks and cash, and time can be accelerated during play.
