Our take on Transport Services
Rather than centering on vehicles as a racing or driving challenge, this simulation focuses on meeting city demand through route planning and goods distribution. Cities grow as passenger needs are served, making the transport network the main structure of play.
What is Transport Services?
Transport Services is a simulation game about moving passengers and goods between contracted cities.
New cities appear as play continues, bringing new passenger needs. Passenger service affects city growth; overcrowded stations can lead to ticket refunds, and cities may lose appeal when cut off from transport. Larger cities can build factories that produce resources for distribution elsewhere. Roads serve buses and trucks on short routes, while trains carry large loads over longer distances and planes serve long-distance passengers.
The world is procedurally generated, and cities grow from a few houses to skyscrapers. Players can deliver products to cities that do not produce them, with payment based on how many of their needs are met. Three difficulty settings range from one without overcrowding penalties to a challenging mode where bankruptcy is a risk.
