Our take on Trail & Error
The bounce point arrives when the wagon, supplies, weather, and illness demand simultaneous decisions. Players who do not enjoy coordinating through proximity voice chat may also stall at the first serious disaster, where individual plans stop working.
What is Trail & Error?
This online co-op survival game supports 1–8 players traveling across an unknown frontier.
Players keep a physics-driven wagon moving, manage food, health, and illness, and respond to changing weather, environmental hazards, and randomized events. Supplies can run out, illness can spread, and wagon failures can disrupt a journey. Character and wagon movement use physics, making hauling supplies and crossing rough terrain unpredictable. Proximity voice chat supports coordination during emergencies and disagreements. Each run spans one of four map biomes, with the shared objective of reaching the end of the trail alive.
How Trail & Error plays

- 05Proximity voice chat
- Players can coordinate through voice communication based on their in-game proximity.
