Our take on Toymaker
The defining structure is consequence-driven roleplaying: choices reshape character stories, while every character—including Pale—can die.
What is Toymaker?
Toymaker is a roleplaying game set in a dark, snow-filled land where harsh conditions have hardened its inhabitants.
Players take the role of Pale, a goat herder feared and shunned by the local people. As animals move toward the village before midwinter night, Pale investigates the return of the Toymaker, who once fled to the nearby mountain. The game includes more than 10 hours of changing story content, exploration beyond established paths, combat against beings formed from darkness and light, and slow recovery from wounds. Followers can be assigned classes to support their strengths or offset weaknesses. Choices alter relationships and character stories, while every character, including Pale, can die.

- 05Changing story paths
