Our take on Too Many Cooks
Its defining structure is a restaurant-by-restaurant combat run where any level can draw from the full enemy and boss roster.
What is Too Many Cooks?
Too Many Cooks is an action RPG about a chef seeking work after being rejected by Chef Hamsey.
Restaurants contain hostile employees, distinct chef enemies, and level-specific bosses. Combat includes attacks from chefs, plates, and sushi knives. A food-based upgrade tree supports focused or balanced character builds, with options affecting damage, damage spikes, projectile size, and elemental effects. Players can choose among interchangeable characters and weapons, improve statistics through permanent upgrades, and unlock recipe upgrades. Different restaurant locations feature their own enemy and boss groups. A mix-and-match mode can place any enemy or boss in any level, changing each run. Preset difficulty options are joined by settings for enemy speed, health, boss difficulty, and incoming damage.
