- Players who prefer realistic settings may not suit the surreal tire-centered worlds
Our take on Tire Friend
Its focus on rolling momentum and obstacle-course traversal leaves less room for deep combat or broad adventure systems. Ongoing construction also means the available stage selection can change as development continues.
What is Tire Friend?
Play as a sentient tire in obstacle courses set across asphalt hills, desert temples, acid-filled volcanoes, haunted houses, outer space, and playrooms.
Movement centers on rolling, bouncing, jumping, climbing, and building momentum into an Overdrive burst that can break through barrels and cross hazards. The game combines mostly 3D platforming with some 2. 5D action and puzzle sections. Stages contain Golden Hubcaps to collect and powerups such as magnets, wings, and protective tire covers. Multiple powerups can be equipped together or saved for later use. Tire Friend is still being developed, with levels and other content remaining in progress.
