The likely bounce point is the mission loop: players who need varied objectives may lose interest once they see that the core actions are dodging, shooting, and collecting upgrade caches across six levels.
What is Tiamat X?
Tiamat X is a side-scrolling space shooter with six levels.
The story follows a fighter pilot defending a homeworld attacked by the Choazid Empire, whose forces are capturing underground lifeforms and turning them into biomechs. Players fly a prototype X-class dragonship and dodge and shoot through missions, collecting upgrade caches to increase its firepower. Auto fire removes the need to press a fire button, while quick fire lets players hold a button or key instead of repeatedly tapping it. The game also includes a color-blind filter, an original music score, Steam Achievements, Leaderboards, and Trading Cards. It is a PC game, presented as an homage to older arcade-style shooters.
