Our take on Thief Town
Stealth usually separates players from one another and places them against predictable guards. Thief Town instead turns concealment into a social guessing contest, filling the arena with matching characters and making rival identification the central task.
What is Thief Town?
Set in a pixel-art Wild West town, this local multiplayer stealth game places up to four players in a single-screen arena filled with identical computer-controlled characters.
Each player controls a thief, hides among the crowd, identifies which figures are rivals, and attacks before being discovered. Thief Town includes three modes: the standard mode uses disguises and stabbing, Spy Town adds single-use tools such as smoke bombs, motion detectors, and teleportation devices, and Drunk Town gives one player the sheriff role and a gun. Matches support one shared computer or devices connected over the same Wi-Fi network. Keyboards, controllers, and mobile devices can be used for play. There are no single-player or online modes.
How Thief Town plays
