Our take on The Technomancer
Rather than limiting RPG progression to a single combat role, the game combines three fighting approaches with electrical powers and four skill trees. Quest resolution also moves beyond combat by including diplomacy and trickery, while companion relationships can alter available paths.
What is The Technomancer?
Set on a terraformed, post-apocalyptic Mars, this sci-fi RPG follows a Technomancer through a planet divided by conflict and populated by mutant creatures.
Combat draws from three styles and electrical Technomancy, with four skill trees for learning abilities and improving perks. Quests can be approached through diplomacy, fighting, or trickery, while decisions influence the world and the fate of Mars. Companions can open different routes and quests through their relationships. Experience raises the character's level, and equipment for the player and teammates can be looted, purchased, or crafted. Crafting also changes weapon and armor appearance and statistics.
