Our take on The Survey
Rather than centering horror on combat or a large cast, the game places a phone, household exploration, and recorded materials at the center of its structure. Its short format uses puzzles and fragments of a past story to replace a longer campaign arc.
What is The Survey?
The Survey is a short horror experience set in a seemingly vacant house.
Players control Marcus Walker, who wakes inside and discovers a locked phone beside a cryptic note. Unlocking the device begins a sequence of events connected to the protagonist’s past. Exploration moves through ordinary-looking rooms marked by eerie silence, while puzzles guide progress. The story unfolds through audio tapes, journal entries, phone-based clues, and supernatural events that appear within the house. A warning about channel numbers, static, and a presence upstairs frames the initial investigation.
