Our take on The Saboteur™
The page foregrounds Paris, resistance activity, and a broad set of actions, from climbing and driving to stealth and demolition. That presentation gives less attention to how often the game shifts between these different forms of play during its missions.
What is The Saboteur™?
Play as Sean Devlin, an Irish racecar mechanic working with the French Resistance in 1940s Nazi-occupied Paris.
Travel through streets, rooftops, alleys, clubs, and cabarets while pursuing revenge against Colonel Kurt Dierker. Missions combine stealth, disguises, distractions, explosives, weapons, vehicles, climbing, and direct combat. Sabotage enemy operations by disabling trains, destroying bridges, and attacking facilities. As resistance activity spreads through parts of the city, affected areas change from black and white to color. Civilians may intervene in fights or provide escape assistance. The game also includes missions involving landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral, including a sniping assignment.
