Our take on The Night Guard
The defining structure is a night-shift investigation through a bus station, where keys open locked rooms and flashlight batteries govern exploration in the dark.
What is The Night Guard?
The Night Guard is a first-person horror game set during a night shift at a bus station built near the site of a demolished psychiatric hospital.
Strange noises, missing items, malfunctioning electronics, and camera outages create the central mystery. Exploration takes place through the station and its rooms, where progress involves finding keys and opening locked areas. Batteries must be collected to keep a flashlight working, while darkness conceals secrets. Movement uses WASD, the flashlight is activated with F, and Tab opens the inventory. The left mouse button picks up items, while the right mouse button examines them. The game presents a contained investigation built around environmental exploration, item collection, locked-room progression, and darkness.
