Our take on The Mystery of a Lost Planet
Instead of using a missing-relative rescue as its central premise, the game follows a stranded spaceship crew investigating an unexplained planetary force. Its hidden-object structure becomes a science-fiction mystery about alien environments, the ship’s fate, and the crew’s survival.
What is The Mystery of a Lost Planet?
After crash-landing on an unknown planet, a stranded spaceship crew investigates the world while seeking a way to survive.
The journey passes through floating islands, underwater environments, alien jungles, mysterious caves, and damaged spacecraft. Players investigate the force that drew the ship to the planet and uncover its intentions through hidden-object exploration, quests, puzzles, and interactions with different characters. Atmospheric music accompanies the journey. Hard mode includes a bonus encounter with a survivor from an earlier spaceship crash, along with his story of survival. The game replaces a familiar hidden-object setup focused on rescuing a kidnapped relative with a science-fiction mystery about an isolated crew, an unfamiliar planet, and the fate of the ship.
