Our take on The Low Road
Rather than centering on a lone adventurer exploring a world, the game places its protagonists inside a corporate workplace and builds its puzzles around espionage, conversation, and moral choices.
What is The Low Road?
Set in the 1970s automobile industry, this point-and-click graphic adventure follows Noomi Kovacs and her supervisor Turn, two agents working in corporate espionage.
Noomi begins in an office at Penderbrook Motors, exploiting coworkers and her surroundings before moving into fieldwork. As the pair uncover a sinister purpose behind the company’s rivalry, they face branching moral choices and conversation puzzles. Gameplay combines traditional storytelling with first-person puzzle sequences. The game features fully voiced dialogue, a hand-painted 2D visual style influenced by 1970s television, and an original score drawing on psychedelia and Americana. Its dark comedy follows two agents reconsidering the paths they have chosen.
