Our take on The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki
The store copy gives substantial space to combat switching and Steam display options, while the story setup stays broad: a student arrives at Van’s office with a request that threatens the nation. It establishes the premise but provides little detail about how the case unfolds.
What is The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki?
Set in the Republic of Calvard amid economic growth and political change, the story follows Van, a Spriggan who takes requests as a detective, negotiator, or bounty hunter.
A student’s visit to the Arkride Resolution Office begins a case that could throw the nation into chaos. Combat shifts between field battles and command-based turns, and players can switch modes with a button. Turn-based commands include attacks, techniques, magic, and items; their combined effects matter when facing strong enemies.
The Steam version includes controls for battle speed and text size, as well as support for 21:9 monitors with expanded views to the left and right. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the game and its season pass. Season pass items are also sold separately, so duplicate purchases are possible.
