THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2002 UNLIMITED MATCH is an upgraded version of KOF 2002, based on THE NESTS CHRONICLES.
Its 66 playable characters include fighters from that storyline, returning characters and hidden characters. The game revises character balance and adds new moves alongside moves brought back from earlier entries. Graphics and background music have also been redone. Challenge Mode offers 50 moves to practice at normal or expert difficulty, while Practice Mode lets players build combos. Endless Mode pits players against the CPU for as long as they can continue. The game also updates the characters’ MAX2 moves and gives each character special and extra-special moves.
